Hehe, I did, but unfortunately I had all the cards you were auctioning. I'm a huuuuge collector, focusing mostly on old school cards, so I already have my base set, fossil, and jungle complete, and am only missing a few cards in the Gym sets. ^__^

Well for mint I'd probably ask for like 8,000. :)

Yup, Alakazam is a baws. I have a pretty big Alakazam collection (he's just not my main collection like Mr.mime, Lapras or Gengar)
I have a MINT shadowless Alakazam (I had two, but gave one away to a friend), a plain unlimited, Sabrina's in Japanese, and English, and dark in holo, non holo, 1st ed holo and 1st ed non holo. ^__^
I have a ton of others as well too.

I have Shadowless: Alakazam, Gyarados, Raichu, Zapdos and Magneton. :)
Then I have like 4-5 commons and uncommons. I definitely would love to have ANY 1st ed shadowless cards. I don't have any of those, but even the commons go for like 5$ usually. :/

Well it's worth about 50$ if it's 1st ed, but the plain Shadowless goes for about 15$ on average usually in NM-M. :)

Well, I collect Gengars so I have a full page of them in my binder (just the holos), I might be willing for a GIN. ^__^
As for Hypno I only have one in my collection (that's holo) and one in TERRIBLE shape, that's I've considered throwing out, or using as some sort of craft project, lol. I gave all the others to a friend who wanted to start a Hypno collection.

Well here's why:
1. It's one of my fave Pokemon.
2. I only have one mint holo Gengar that isn't 1st ed, the other is NM, and a third is PL.
3. It goes the lowest price (in that condition) on ebay for about 9$.
(and 8000 credits = 8$)
I'm just not willing to low ball my cards TOO much, and definitely not one of my faves. I've let a lot of rare cards go for almost no money on here. :/

Also, I don't think you can generalize a mint Venusaur's worth on here. If I had seen a MINT one go for that, I would outbid the person in a heartbeat. ;)
It's worth quite a bit more on paying sites.

I understand what your saying but ebay prices are just asking prices on trollandtoad its only like a 3 dollar card ill get one eventually. I seen a Venasaur on here go for 8200 about a month ago and Blastoise go for 9600 its really worth what someones willing to pay there are no real prices on these cards

Troll and Toad's card are rarely pristine to be honest. :/
They're not great graders, even though they're a generally awesome store.
I just checked and their NM (NOT mint - which prob means it's closer to EX) holo, fossil gengar goes for 4.99$

Yes! Things are only worth what people are willing to pay, and it's all relative, etc but the general public (on ebay - which can be a goldmine since a lot of people with a ton of feedback are excellent graders) seem to be selling a mint one for about 9$ as a starting point. ^__^

Also Blastoise holo and Venusaur go for about 14$ and16$ respectively on Troll and Toad (since you mentioned them) in near mint condition. :)

and then gym leaders and darks and lights and all that came out thats when people started saying sets but i stuck with second edition because its the second edition of sets :-)

Japanese sets are amazing. As a kid I had base, fossil, jungle, team rocket and the gym sets completed. I sure wish I still did! :P

Well they are second edition they didnt call anything baase anything because when i was growing up there was 1 set so everyone called them second edition when they came out
