awesome game. in last mission for rebels just build a ton of mon calamari cruisers and those tiny blockade runners(?) that are best against fighters. your objective isnt to destroy Imperial fleet, but to give time for red squadron to blow up the Death Star. watch the cut scene after that. also, sometimes game might freeze,the audio will repeat, but nothing on screen will move. dont be terrified that you did something wrong, its just an error in the way they wrote the code for game. no patch or fix for it, sadly. just restart computer and start from the last save file. not sure if it happens only on some systems or under certain conditions. not fatal, but annoying. also sometimes you can get error that says something like :"could not authenticate disc in time" or something like that. just open and close disc drive and launch game again.thats just securom copy protection acting up..

system requirements are:

OS: Windows Vista or Windows XP
CPU:PENTIUM 3 OR AMD ATHLON 1 gHZ OR better (Intel core 2 duo 1.86 Ghz dual core processor works just fine)
256 MB RAM
32 MB 3D grahics card with hardware Transform and Lighting capability ( I guess they mean NVIDIA GeForce 7800 graphics card, but NVIDIA Quadro 3450/4000 works just fine)
DirectX9.0c sound card
3.5 GB hard drive space (4 GB recommended)
8x DVD-ROM drive

DEFINITELY runs on windows Vista.
SHOULD run on windows 7 or 8, but not sure. Windows 7 and 8 use different kernel, so some programs run but get various new bugs or errors. some dont even start.. worst one to run on windows 7 and 8 is Command and Conquer the first decade. some games from that pack refuse to run even in compatibility mode.

Whoever wins this auction might want to think about bidding on the expansion that I have listed as well, it is a really good add-on to the game which opens up a whole other faction to play and / or play against.

you must be one of lucky ones, ryder72. my buddy has it, but it crashes repeatedly for some reason. expansion is even better than original :) you get to play as pirates. also, there is a total conversion mod for it called "Republic at war" havent played it, but heard it really good. also, bunch of smaller but popular mods are available, free of course.

I have heard that some people have issues with it at some point through the story line, but it is so kooladding the pirates to the mix :)

weird, I had issue with empire at war where game froze and that "could not authenticate disc" but not with Forces of corruption. runs flawlessly on my 1.86 processor with 2 cores enabled and NVIDIA Quadro series card on high resolution, I think.
