Handmade Christmas Stocking Tear Bear paper piecing in red. Made from expensive thick handcrafted 150gsm-165gsm mulberry paper. This bear measures approx. 5 inches tall, 2 1/2 inches wide. I used a pattern from Beary Sweet Designs to create this.

Definition: Tear bears are circles, ovals and similar shapes torn from mulberry paper to give it a fluffy real like look and assembled into the shape of a teddy bear before being glued together.

There are many uses not limited to scrapbooking layouts, cards, framed with a picture, magnets. The possibilities are numerous!

Don't miss out! I can't make the same tear bear again. If I have the materials I can make one similar. But each tear bear or critter comes together in my hands. They take on their own personalities.
