This yarn will come in a mill end bag plastic bag that weighs one pound. There are 9 balls to this bag.

I don't know much about this yarn but believe it is an acrylic/polyester/nylon blend. It is a thin mesh tape or frilly ruffle yarn type. Approx. 3/4" wide unstretched. The colors are black, beige and white.

Please see all pictures posted. The first picture is the entire lot you will receive of 9 balls. I have included a close up of a ball and the strand. Unstretched the yarn is slightly wider than the pennies show in the picture. This yarn does have a little bit of stretch as ruffle yarn does.

I have added a picture of my wip (work in progress). This was knitted in garter stitch to create a ruffle scarf. At the end of each row of color I have twisted the yarn to reverse it from black to white and back.

I am a mill end lover. For those who are not familiar with them there is a variety of reasons they are found in 'mill end' bags. Some are: discontinued lines, factory overstocks, end of the mill runs that may be of odd lengths, off dye lots, test runs of new yarns, and on occasion it may not have passed the quality control test to be placed on store shelves. I have found these mill end bags to a great way to buy yarn at affordable prices.
