Description

The listing, Native American Turquoise(?) Sterling Silver Watch has ended.

This is a Sterling silver watch(the two side pieces, I forget what they call them, lol!) they are MARKED STERLING! The watch it self (the face is very clear and readable, forsome reason the scanner makes it look blurry, it ISN"T! It's in perfect condition! ) it says"Liberty" 1911 on it. It has a Silver Colored head of a Native American Chief on it and below says Thailand Movt. in tiny letters! The "strap " is standard stretchy watch stuff . It appears to be turquoise, but I'm not 100% sure, the turquoise is quite shiny , and some kind of handmade pieces because they are all slightly different in height and size. There is no other mark that I see , except a traditional type Native American design on each of the side pieces.I got this from a trusted Listian, but I have another watch and I see something else I want to get (fast! Lol!) so please do a GIN!!! Hahaha!!(before I come to my senses! And change my mind!!This is a gorgeous watch!! And looks great with anything!! My wrist is about 7 to 8 inches around(Maybe 7 1/2) and this fits fine . But if your wrist is bigger or smaller , these are easy enough and cheap enough to get one! If you have questions , just ask! And feel free to bid as high as you like! Lol! And if you'd like the GIN to be higher, I'll happily raise it as much or more than you'd like!! (sorry , I couldn't resist!). Shipping payment can be made via a Postal Money order(from the Post Office! ) or by concealed cash (sorry , no Paypal yet, I'm working on it, maybe after Santa drops a bag of money down my chimney!).
I added more pics, I did open it and discovered it had the WRONG SIZED BATTERY! Lol! IT IS NOW WORKING JUST FINE!!! SO , THE STARTING BID HAS CHANGED!! GIN HAS CHANGED! PLEASE NOTE : IF YOU ARE WATCHING (and have been , you had the opportunity to bid before , but since No-one did It's like starting over!!!

Ty Buster!! Yes, I am under "heavy load! " Lol!! And lightning isn't always bad! A lady I know was hit , she had the window open while washing dishes, hands in the water! Lightning came down in front of the window and bounced up and hit her under her chin! She weighed over 200lbs at the time! It knocked her out cold when her head hit the floor, All she remembered was seeing a bright light , then a kind of religious epiphany!(She never believed in God until then) ,It changed her life and in the coming months the weight came off! Since then I don't think she;s ever weighed more than 100lbs. Her who life got better and better! I think she's in her '80's now, Had 3 smart boys now all grown up! 2 of her sons became world famous writers! The other I think is a Dr. or Lawyer. She went back to college and is an artist , now.Life is good!

Aww, sorry! If you have questions about Listia ,feel free to ask. I still don't know it all but maybe I can help with some things. Yes, the stones seem to be real stone, but if they are or aren't turquoise , all I know is they look and appear to be.

Possibly , I'm no expert on turquoise, this is very high polished (shiney) I wondered if it could be some other stone even , or glass , except the shapes are each different . It is the right color for Sleeping Beauty though I cannot verify that.

Another place to find batteries is on Ebay or online, I found tons! Also there are watch repair kits (I think would include batteries if you like to fix watches!)

Yah, I just looked online the cheapest tips I found in sterling with Turquoise were $80 !!! What shall I do ,pay YOU to buy this??/ Hahaha!! Most were $129 or more! (Up to $600 for these type of watches!) I personally would go online to see how much put in a new watchwork inside, I can't imagine that could be very much.

Hey does anyone know how to do videos on here? I saw one on another auction! It would be great to do a video of the watch!!

Happy to say , it's been a few days and the watch is keeping perfect time!! And as I am writing this there is an ad with a very similar watch that's listed at $120 (that's the sale price!! Lol!) so my GIN is an excellent buy!!

It's marked Sterling silver on both of the side pieces. Watches like this go for $100 and up, it might be worth taking to someone to figure out if it needs anything (other than a battery) or not. I'm not a watch repair person, I know very little about them, if you aren't sure, or don't know anything either it would be best to find someone who can figure it out.

The works are inside, as you see, what I don't know is if my batteries are still good.(I've had mine for at least 5 yrs in the package, not sure how long they last, or even if I have the right size.I'll try to get to a jeweler and see what I can find out.Keep checking back with me for updates, TY for watching this watch!!

Very nice, most people don't like buying watch batteries they have to raise the ship or credits to cover the cost of a battery they just bought also and watch batteries are not just $1 or $2 anymore ...they range from $3-$6

I buy my batteries new at a flea market near here, they come in a huge package (sealed) with maybe 7 different types of batteries and 4 to 6 of each in the package! All for $1!!! I will check again, but I think I already looked and this one wasn't one I have ). But I'm going to recheck that.I have used these batteries for yrs, and had many , many watches. No problems yet(unless I don't have the watches particular size. You may be able to find the batteries at a place like Ocean state Job Lot (or even some drugstores sell them!)I'll see what I can find out.

does the watch have any battery movement at all? you say you just got it but did you buy a battery and actually see it work? im interested but very iffy on this one but it is a beautiful watch. it may pay you to put a battery in it if it is not actually working. then add higher amount.

It is a beautiful watch and I'll open it and see if I can get a pic of the inside for you, and I'll recheck on the battery ,but I'm pretty sure I don't have the right size, but can see what it takes and I'll post it here , so come back and check.
