I think it is the gem jar but when I get home I'll look. This ametrine isn't as clearly divided as I'd like but it is my last one. I'll give you a better answer after 11pm or in the morning. Thanks for your interest.

It appears to me to be fractures within the stone. It really reminds me of rutilated quartz.
