i know that you are only supposed to use NOOK charger on this..the nook charger has auto shutoff when it is fully charged..other chargers will burn up the battery..you should be able to get one from Barnes and Noble..so be careful about charging with wrong charger..Just thought you should know

idk if it will let me lower the time because i didnt see the options but ill try to lower it to 3 days and it takes the Barnes and Noble Nook Tablet Charger.... type it in at google it will have a big lower case N on it

Try using a micro USB charger. Not best for long term, but I've used one in a pinch to charge. Should allow you to turn the unit on for photos. Good luck with your auction.
