This is a dollar general gift card value $25 !!! Just as card says first has to be activated by cashier !!! Never been use !!! I live in LA California no store here does not work online only when the cashier activated i will ship as soon as is over !!!

I work at a Dollar General. The card is already activated. The cahier has to slide the card on her key board. The customer cannot slide it in the debit/credit device their self..

It is activated when bought. If the amount is not marked on it how do you know it has $25 on it?

I won it in a instant back to school game and when I won said $25 it came with a leather says is $25 if you want I'll also mail the leader with the card it does have $25 just have to go have it activate with cashier i also have a $5 gift card i might send that one too

I'm confused. Cards should be activated already, that's how theft is prevented in stores.

No, that is not correct, all gift cards are activated when purchased, that is how they are rung up and also prevent theft, letter (by the way, not leather) means nothing. If this card is not activated then it was either stolen or is a bogus auction.

Hello, there are Phone numbers on the card, most likely 1-800 nimber to Dollar general. you should verify the card as having the $25.00 on it before listing on Listia. Just because you 'won' the card, does not and will not justify the lack of funds on the card if it is later discovered the card has not been loaded with the $25.00. I will not bid because 'must be activated by cashier' is what all gift cards say that are on an open rack in a store for customers to choose from. They then, take it to the cashier to be activated, which happens when the applies the money to the card. Good Luck..
