This is a token from the infamous Show World Center in New York City's Times Square area of 8th Ave. & 42nd St.This once raunchy part of Times Square area has been cleaned up. "Show World Center- Worlds Greatest Show Place" closed in 2008. Whether a part of history you want to acknowledge or not, it is in fact at least of part of NYC history.
It appears that these have become somewhat of a collector's item. I noticed a few of these being sold on eBay for $6.99each + $2.25 for shipping. You can grab this one here for only credits.
By the way, this token is about the size of a U.S. nickel.
