Hi Welcome to my auction:
Here is an old native totem collectible. What is it? It looks like an incense burner or made to hold something, face paint?? by the way the drum opens up. I believe this to be Polynesian and made of teakwood. But could be Indian, or African also?? He has a chip by his right eye. Have had this for years and don't remember where i got it from. Does anyone know anything about this kind of statue? I have seen a few others like this on Listia recently. Smoke free home. Thanks for looking, please check out my other auctions. Has the hair been on it since you've had it or has it been added? Did you happen to find anything out about this statue (besides it being on the Brady Bunch lol) Thank you :-)

lol i saw that picture too. The hair has always been on , no i can't seem to find anything at all about it. I don't know what else to look under. I have looked for tiki hawaiian statue and all i can find is the new ones. i kn ow this is an older one it even looks old. so haven't had much luck

ok i think they are from Hawaii some are older than others. They make reproductions now like the older ones. I know mine is over 25 years old and I think I remember getting it at a flea market

I have a friend thats in Gambia Africa and he says that statue is from there and ur supposed to fill the drum with milk and it will bring alot of luck and happiness. Just thought i'd share that with ya :-) Thanks again for listing!
