yes, the face flips down and you can put a cd in it. it reads mp3 format so if you put the songs on the cd in that format, then you can fit about 90 songs on one disc.

if you want i will add the bag of chips with it. yes, it definitely works. very good radio to me, I blew the motor of the car, and pulled the radio before sending the car to a junkyard. my new car has a factory radio that is really nice, so I didn't want to replace it
