you might get by with it once or twice but chances of 2 computers using the same drivers and chipsets and such are slim and ill bet there were programs not working corre ctly by you doing that I KNOW BECAUSE I BUILD COMPUTERS

It has to be wiped you cant install windows on one computer and then transfer that harddrive to another computer it will have all kinds of probs plus whoever reloads windows will be stuck with about 20 gigs of old file space tied up on it that they cant delete because it takes original admin permission to delete them already been thru that had to wipe the harddrive to get the old file out so u need to wipe it before u ship it

it has a new copy of win7 on it an I used it in 2 or 3 laptops so I know it will work the winner will have to put what drivers they need that is all I do this all the time

OH and better if you let windows put those drivers in when it loads than you having to go find them

Sheesh duggy123, give the guy a break. And if you "build computers" then you should know that your IP address isn't stored on the hard drive, AND what difference would it make anyway? Chances are it's a local network IP and 90% of the people on the planet have a 192.168.x.x IP. Sheesh. Mind your own business. Just because you can build a car doesn't mean you can drive one.
