Handmade Hot Pink Owl Tear Bear paper piecing. Made from expensive thick handcrafted 150gsm-165gsm mulberry paper. The owls are foam stickers. Her flower is a mulberry punch with a flatback pearl center. This bear measures approx. 3 3/8 inches tall, 4 3/4 inches wide. I used a pattern from Beary Sweet Designs to create this.

Definition: Tear bears are circles, ovals and similar shapes torn from mulberry paper to give it a fluffy real like look and assembled into the shape of a teddy bear before being glued together.

There are many uses not limited to scrapbooking layouts, cards, framed with a picture, magnets. The possibilities are numerous!
