Working 1949 Men's Bulova "Excellency" 7AK Watch has original solid glass crystal and has no cracks or chips and has one scuff almost dead center as you can see in pics. Face has some patina appropriate for the age of watch. Back of watch case states that it is "10k Gold Filled" and also says "A9" and has the case number 1165806 as you can see in pic 3. Watch band is not original. Movement is signed "Bulova", "7AK" and 49. Inside of watch case back is signed "Bulova Fifth Ave New York". Rectangular face accented by bullet shaped lugs and a second movement just above the 6. Polish this up with a jewelers cloth to remove all those little surface scratches and this baby will shine and look brilliant! I bought this at an estate sale so I don't know anything about it other than what I've stated above.

History on the Bulova "His Excellency" line:
Bulova was founded by Czech immigrant Joseph Bulova and based in New York City, where the famous Bulova Observatory was located, high above a skyscraper on Fifth Avenue.
The “Excellency” line of watches were produced just after WWII right here in the USA (case, dial, mechanism, band) and all featured top shelf 15, 17 or 21 jewel mechanisms.

This item has a nominal shipping fee that must be paid through Paypal. Thanks for understanding!

Thank you for the offer. I can't lower it that much and risk it going for only 17,000 credits. This watch is worth between $150-$200 so I set starting bid at the least amount I would be willing to take. Thanks for you interest!

It really is. I was amazed it still worked so perfectly for it's age! A true testament as to the quality of a Bulova watch! The model is pretty rare, as well. Spent A LOT of hours online tracking down info. Thanks for your comment!
