Background story: I had this great idea that I was going to earn extra money by repaiting used furniture. My first effort was a large wooden stool which someone in my building was getting rid of. It was pretty ugly because it was all black. I was successful in changing the color but working on the legs was so difficult that when I saw this painters mitt at Ace, I thought it would make my life easier. It probably would have if I had ever tried to paint anything again. Hence, it is still in the plastic bag it came in. Since that was in 1999, though, the bag itself is dusty and a little beat up.
