The listing, Black bead choker silver clasp vintage in box has ended.

Beautiful black bead choker with a silver clasp. the beads are faceted and strung on a very very thin silver chain, not on string or wire. It has a silver clasp that pushes in the lock closed.

It is a small necklace, about 16 inches, choker length and has the box from Foley's that I think it came in.

This was my grandmother's, it's very beautiful but I will never wear it and I'd really like to pass it on to someone that will treasure it. My grandmother kept jewelry in boxes in drawers, but I think it should be worn and loved.

Very simple and elegant, I think this would make a great gift for those who love vintage jewelry.

the beads are glass?

I'm not sure, the are faceted, and very cool to the touch. The clasp is not marked, but the beads are strung on a fine fine silver link chain. The beads have an iridescence to them, but I don't think they are glass, it almost feels like stone or or a vintage synthetic plastic. I hope that helps, I really don't know, but they are beautiful and would make a lovely gift.

Oh, they are in a Foley's box, I think they came from Foley's but I'm not sure, so they would be a high end costume jewelry.
