it doesnt come with a hard drive and the cords are misplaced. I have used the hard drive with my new xbox and the cords you can buy from gamexchange for like 6 dollars...

is the disc drive some what like the computers cd rom??? Because at the moment I've been trying to find the case fully intact since I do custom airbrush designs on them

if you close the drive with some force and rapidly smack above the dvd drive does it then read the disc? If so its just the gear needs some greasing. sometimes even the rubber band just needs to be replaced. lemme know cuz I'll bid if its just that issue.
