Want to attract more butterflies to your garden? This quick-growing annual produces vivid red or orange-red dahlia-like flowers from mid-summer on. Its leaves are, soft, dark green and lobed. Plants can reach up to 6 feet tall and 2 feet wide, filled with blossoms in just a few months. Butterflies love them! I can always count on finding them where this plant is growing!

Flowers are great for cutting too!

Care: Provide well-drained, moderately fertile soil in full sun. Stake if necessary and shelter from strong winds. Grows best in hot, sunny weather.
