Description

The listing, Apple iBook G4 has ended.

I bought this iBook G4 at a garage sale and found out it had a cd stuck in it when I got it home. After following instructions I found on the web, I managed to get it to eject. I have never used an Apple product before and all I could get it to do was boot to a grey screen and once something with a big question mark came up. I put in one of the install discs to try and restore the operating system and I thought it would start automatically (it didn't) and I didn't know what keys to use to get it to start...so nothing happened...and that disc is stuck in the drive now (of course) and I'm tired of messing with it.

It is a Model a1054...I don't know the exact specifications for it.

It has a lot of software and manuals as you can see...and the battery seems to hold a charge for awhile. So, if you know how to operate an iBook or just want to torture yourself...here's your chance.

It will be shipped by Standard Post. The total weight is 11 pounds for everything and the Post Office calculated it at $23.15.

I only except PAYPAL for shipping fees, so please do not bid if you do not intend to pay shipping through PAYPAL.
I only ship to Listia verified addresses.
No buyers remorse.

LOL, that comment about torture yourself, is cracking me up. And yes that is what happens with all computers. I usually fix them, so I know about the glitches. Someone may have upgraded it, and its not recognizing itself. If that makes sense.
Yes, this is def. a project computer. The hard drive or the motherboard could have some problems. Would have to be troubleshooted.

As I stated before, the flat rate shipping charge of $23.15 was quoted to me at the Post Office for shipping it in the original box, which is 16 X 13 X 7 and weighs 11 pounds. I can ship it cheaper, if the winner does not want the original box, in a large Priority Mail Flat Rate box. If I shipped it in a medium flat rate box, as you suggest, with the power adapter, manuals, and software, then there would be very little space for packing to protect it from damage.
