Yeah I can see how it could throw some people off, the first time I used it was as a sample and wasn't sure about it...but now I love it!

Yeah it is basically a tinted primer. I usually use it as more of a under eye concealer because it does a pretty good job with my tired dark circles...I work odd hours and go to nursing school! Glad that helped and let me know if you have anymore questions!
