I bought one off eBay from China, first time I tried to use it it fried a 500gb hard drive so I threw it away.

The one I bought was a cheap "pos" from china off of ebay. That's why I'm looking for a good one.

I agree fur_trader. I have been a computer tech for over 20 years and really need one of these for the drives that I pull from dead systems so that I can format and test them. I've learned NOT to buy electronics from China on eBay.
