Subjectively, I thought although the camera was very lightweight and basic, it did the job quite well so I was pleased with the very short time it was in my possession. I think this would make a great gift for a child to play with or even an interest in videography, etc. It looks great in the photos but in real life, it's a different story. The body is predominantly made of plastic and is not metal like I assumed when cross referencing the item with Amazon customer reviews. The function menu is quite basic on an average scale. It seems to be of an older more classic model in which it is not very feature rich. Overall, to me what mattered is that it did it's job and gave me digital HD videos that were easily and readily to transfer without too many cords and clutter. The cool thing is that the USB retracts directly from the camera body, so all you need to do is hook it up to any USB port and it's ready to go! No annoying cords with this baby red.
