It has basic capabilities, and would be great as a starter phone for you teen (my son has a similar one for past 3 yrs) or someone who just wants a basic phone. All you'd have to do is purchase a minute pack to TOP UP, call VM to receive your very own phone number and have your minutes activated on the phone. In addition, VIRGIN MOBILE will apply 60 bonus minutes!!!! VM has great minute and monthly plans. I should know we have 3 different phones with them at our house. SHIPPING IS FREE IF BID REACHES 500.... SO BID AWAY!!!!

My son has this same phone and loves it! i pay $25 for unlimited text and internet and 300 minutes a month for him. Virgin mobile is a great customer service company! i have never had any problems with his phone or plan!

Thanks for the testimonial~ My son is more into texting that talking so we usually put a minimal amount of minutes () $10 and just add a Texting package. This just shows the versalitiy in VM plans.

Thats my kids too! The only time my son called anyone was when he went on a school trip to New York city. He called and let me know he landed..lol I didnt hear from him again till he was back in Texas...haha
He has only used 10 minutes talk time in a year for his phone.
Yes, VM has many plans and thier phones are great for active teens!
