The listing, Grave of the Fireflies VHS - Anime Studio Ghibli has ended.

This is a VHS tape of the 1988 movie "Grave of the Fireflies." It is a Japanese anime dubbed in English. The box is a little dinged up but the movie should still play perfectly.

It was made by Studio Ghibli (Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro) but this movie is decidedly darker. Set in Japan at the end of World War II, teenage Seita and his little sister Setsuko are left on their own after their mother is killed in a firebombing. And then it just gets worse for them from there.

This is one of the saddest movies I have ever seen, live action or animated. You're gonna need some tissues.
