I have a package of baby's breath gypsophila muralis seeds up for bids. delicate white flowers bloom on 18in. tall plants. this quick growing annual can flower as quickly as six weeks from germination. very hardy or tolerant of less than ideal soil and growing conditions. can be planted in successive 2 week intervals throughout the spring for continuous blooms in the summer. to plant these select a part shady to full sun area. sow directly outdoors about two weeks before last frost in spring or in late autumn in milder climates. keep moist until seedlings are well established. final plant spacing should be 8-12 in. apart. baby's breath requires little care and should not be over watered or over fertilized. for even earlier blooms you can start seed indoors 4-6 weeks before last frost for trasplanting outdoors. seed storage: store in a cool, dry place, heat and moisture severely reduce germination.
