The listing, LOOK Confederate Currency $10.00 Bill has ended.

Up for your consideration is this Confederate $10.00 Bill that I found while cleaning out my grandmother's house and she generously gave to me. To the best of my knowledge this is a genuine confederate bill. I also had it checked by an expert at Heritage Auctions who did put a value on it. I couldn't go through Heritage because my collection had to exceed a certain dollar amount and it did not.

Thank you for visiting my auction. Yes there is a date on it and it looks like February 17, 1864.When you click to view photos, if you will click again while cursor on photo then it will zoom in and give better details of photo. Also there are photos of the back of this bill to show there is no facsimile stamp on it.

If the serial number is 83185 it is a reprint. These were made in 1954 for Cheerios Cereal. Still cool even if it did come from Cheerios in 1954.
Please submit serial number.

That is not the serial number. It looks like first number is 1 or 7. Then a 5 followed by a 6 or 0 and then last number is a 2.

Can you please respond on what the bill number is please? I am almost positive it is a re-print but never know for sure without bill #. It would be the serial number.

Okay I just got in and see your questions regarding bill number. I myself am guessing to some degree because it is done in a fancy way, but it looks like the first number is either a 1 or 7. Then a 5 followed by 6 or 0 and then last number is a 2. As I mentioned in my listing tabove these bills were viewed by an expert at Heritage Auctions who did say they were genuine. He could not consign them for me because what you consign with them has to meet a certain dollar amount for them to do anything with your collection and mine did not meet it. Thank you.
