there is no name on the blade all it says is 440 stainless and on the bottom of that is has E D C

Couple of questions for you. Why does it have a thumb nail spot if its auto opening? And second how come the third photo shows the knife half open ? An auto opening knife would jump into the open position if button had been pushes, not half open.

I don't know why it has a thumb nail spot but it is auto push button and it opens the pic of it half open is just to show blade took it when I was closing it thanks
