Would you consider having a prepaid label with dc and insurance emailed to you instead of money order?? Way faster and you wouldn't have to wait in line at the po just set it on the counter. Thanks!! Great item!!

here it is stated that money orders are allowed but they are hard to track (i will under charge 1.00 so that the buyer can put tracking on it.)

IF YOU ARE PAYING FOR SHIPPING, AVOID SENDING CASH, CHECKS, MONEY ORDERS AND NEVER SEND WIRE TRANSFERS
These types of payments are extremely hard to recover in case the seller does not ship your item or there is some other dispute, and Listia is unable to help recover shipping money
IF YOU DO SEND PAYMENT BY MAIL, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EVIDENCE OF PAYMENT

there is no on board memory, it uses MiniDV tapes.

How do you play what you recorded In a player or do you just have to use the camera with AV cords

it has a VCR function that you can use to playback on the screen, or you can use AV cords.

i only ever put video on the MiniDV tapes but i assume you would use one of the following ports along with a video editing software.

1 x IEEE 1394 (FireWire/i.LINK) ( 4 pin FireWire ),
1 x S-Video output ( 4 pin mini-DIN ),
1 x Composite video/audio output ( RCA phono x 3 ),

How s the battery/ How long does it hold a charge?

the battery seems fine, i did a full charge the day i listed it (7 days ago) and i just checked it and it still shows full. the last big thing i used it for was recording my sisters wedding at over an hour long.

no sorry it only takes the MiniDV tapes, it takes the digital stills by making a 6 second pause during the recording (these can be retrieved by hooking it up to your computer)
