It is a good adapter. I acquired a lot of these and have used one may times during my adventures as a shade tree PC mechanic for my family, friends, and church family.

I have the same adapter, it works great! Drops the signal once in a while, but reconnect and it's all good. Works with windows Vista and 7 as well.

With up to date drivers, I have had no problems with this adapter or the PC card adapter I also have listed.

so just out of curiousity did you send him the wrong item maybe it was by mistake IDk but it can happen however to thejim you erally shouldnt bash ppl on their auctions thats what listia contact help is for. I have several ppl I didnt get my item from and I just contacted listia about it also that is what the feedback is for doing this under a auction liek that oly makes you seem childish ... just my opinion you can imagine your kicking me for it but seriously .. now back to DIRT .. can you please exlain even by direct email i liek to give ppl th benefit of the doubt unlike many other pol whom assume things before discussing them out

In my previous auction, the pic was correct, but the specs I copied and pasted were not correct. I did however meantion in the auction description above the specs, that I was unsure if the specs were correct but was pretty sure the pic was correct. I think he overlooked the "specs may be incorrect" part. Regardless, I did put serious time and consideration in my new auctions and I assure all that bothe the pic, descriptions, and links are 100% accurate. As far as thejim, you can't make everyone happy all the time. I did my best to make him happy, and the rest is in God's hands. Thank you for the message. Yes you did state in your other auction that you were not sure if the specs were correct. You are right you can't make everyone happy. I hope you get lots of bids on this auction. I was looking at ti but Isee that I have everything in my laptop that I need to connect to the internet, but I have to have a router. right now I am having to plug mu laptop in to the modem and when I want to use my desktop I have to unplug my laptop and plug my desktop in. I am glad that Cox.net left me 2 cords so I could at least switch them back and forth when I want to get on the internet.

Most modern laptops already come w/ wireless capabilities. The laptop adapter is for older laptops that do not have wireless built in or that has faulty wireless. The USB adapter can be used for the same effect, but are primarily used to make PC wireles. SUch as when the family has PC's in different rooms and running a hard line network cable is not feasable. A suggestion for your case would be a simple router, hub, or switch. A wireless router would be ideal. Good luck, and may God bless you.
