just so you know, if I'm not mistaken, that's actually a barber dime? merc dime head goes then other way and it has wings like the Greek god of mercury' Icarus. hope this helps :)

I think your misunderstanding the question. The mint is the location of the minting of money, i.e. San Fran, Denver, Philly.

its not worth that much we honestly don't know it only says usa 1916 on the back it says one dime it doesn't have any mint mark on it.

I am sorry I really like your auction and I hope to get if but banniegiddis is right and you coin dealer is very wrong that barber dime is 40 years older then a mercury dime the barber is worth more the a mercury I love your auction but your coin guy needs some glasses. I do just want to help looks great and the barber are more wanted be people any way .
