These boots are ankle height, great with jeans or dress pants. And are very comfy. Gently worn twice but broke ankles and can no longer wear.

Would make a great Christmas gift!!

Yes, for me they do fit tight. I think if you wear an 8.5 they would fit.

I can sometimes wear an 8.5 depending on the maker. My toes go to the end but without hurting, if that helps ?

Wow, I can't believe no one has commented on you breaking both ankles! Yikes! Not a good holiday gift, is it? I was in a head-on collision last week on my first day of vacation. Ugh! I hope your ankles heal very quickly and you're able to enjoy the holiday!
