Is there a brand name of the tool?

Well, if there is one - it's not printed on the unit.. I will say however, it is a quality made tool - and not from China. I have two of them - they've lasted years, like new - and one of them is now listed here!

This tool is stainless steel does not rust is of high quality and has no defects or damage. The knives are very sharp and the pliers show NO wear whatsoever. This was in my toolbox with another one exactly like it, but since I'm no longer working hi rise job sites where tool loss is not uncommon, I've really no need for this extra pair. Exactly how old is it. It's not old enough to drink alcohol... Really I can't tell you how long it sat int he hardware store where I bought it, but I've had it for a few years. I hope this answers your and any one else's with the same question in mind. Thanks for looking.

Are you going to be sure it's cleaned and sanitized before you sell it ? Looking at the pictures , the blades look dirty ? What is that ?

Standard degreaser to clean it. WD-40 to keep it lubricated for easy open and close. Sanitized? not necessary for a tool, maybe for an eating utensil - which this is definitely not!
