I was in Shallotte NC at work when a tech in the back room was watching a black and white battery operated TV and told us what was happening. We all went home that day. So sad. I think I've googled every single video/documentary/picture of that tragic day and the most awful thing I found is the man (Kevin something) speaking with a dispatcher when his tower fell. He was on the 106th floor. Chilling and it changed me forever. Nice auction, F&W, however I think this will go way over what credits I have to offer......

I hate to admit my age, But I remember so many day's that have had a great impact on our Country. But this is one that I lived through with my children. I will never forget that day. Bidding

Today is Christmas Day, let us pray for those lost and the children they left behind to go foster homes. I saw toddlers being escorted thru Dallas, all with such blank expressions/eyes. The TV coverage was impressive but those eyes of babies will never leave my memory. Let us pray ... GOD BLESS AMERICA

I remember the day well - I was in my home in Dallas and suddenly, it got so quiet one could hear a pin drop so I turned on the TV. The description is accurate - it's a Day That Changed The World...

what is so wrenching is I'd been hearing gossip about this coming for a year, while standing in line at the grocery store. Just gossip that the CIA/FBI knew of those men being trained here in Dallas & staying at the Hilton Hotels. Made me physically sick when I saw the TV show it actually happen and there'd be nothing done to stop it .... comments made later were that no one could have been arrested until they broke a law. I guess PLANNING doesn't count unless you're an American citizen, cause if it'd been one of us, we'd sure have been in jail quickly! They even put moms in jail for hiring "hit men" to be sure their daughters win cheerleader positions in Texas.

My heart went out to all those injured that day and especially to the babies who came thru Dallas, on their way to new families. The blank eyes were just so hard to believe, in one so young, but it was there. The eyes of babies should be filled with joy and happiness but instead, the shock had emptied them of emotion. I pray for those, everyday.

May history never repeat itself. Let us be prepared!

I agree with everything that you said in your email. I was living in Albany,, New York during the time of the 9/11 attacks. You should check out a movie called "Loose Change - 9.11 " you can find it online for free and on Netflix. It explores in great detail all of the points about 9/11, and much more, that you brought up in your email. Thank you for checking my auction out, and GOD BLESS AMERICA!
