Prized for their showy, star-shaped flowers and leathery evergreen foliage, oleanders (Nerium oleander) add year-round color and beauty to landscaping. They grow best within U.S. Department of Agriculture plant hardiness zones 8 to 10, where they are widely grown as container plants and as informal hedges. Oleanders produce an abundance of seed, which can be used to propagate new plants. Although the seeds are highly viable and will likely produce a shrub that resembles the parent plant, the resulting seedlings sometimes vary greatly in terms of their flower color and the prolificness of their blooming.

This ever green plant/bush/tree has pink flowers that bloom for several months and grows on average 6' to 20' high and up to 6 feet in diameter. Depending on how it is pruned it can be turned into a tree, a hedge or a bush.

It stays green year round in southern USA. southwest USA or California. It is an amazingly beautiful bush with pink flowers that stay on most on spring/summer and then creates its seed capsules in the fall.

Easy to grow. Stays green. makes a perfect hedge and even can hold back most fires from crossing beyond it. It is not safe to eat these flowers however they do smell nice and live a long time if picked.
