This listing is for a used Asahi Pentax K1000 camera body with a Pentax Takumar-A 28-80mm macro zoom lens!

Shutter fires at all speeds
Meter is responsive and gives proper exposures.
Battery compartment is clean
Film compartment and viewfinder are clean
Lens focuses and zooms smoothly. Glass is clean with no fungus or haze. Aperture is dry and snappy. Includes 58mm skylight filter.

This is a classic 35mm SLR - film photography instructors have used them for black and white photography classes for decades and still recommend them. They are durable workhorses, and a joy to shoot with.

You can certainly send me a payment for shipping via USPS money order; I won't be able to ship until I have the money however. I recommend using paypal because it's fast and free, but whatever works for you. No personal checks though.

Actually many places sell 35mm film - Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, etc - most of these places have photo labs where you can drop off film for printing and even get a cd with digital images. Film is cheap, widely available, and super easy to get processed.

You can put whatever kind of 35mm film you want in this - c41 black and white film can be processed by any photo lab at a store though.

Originally this camera wasn't sold with a flash - it does have a hot shoe where you can put a flash on, but a flash isn't necessary at all to take great photos with this camera. If you want to buy a flash for it, I would look on eBay, craigslist or stores that sell used cameras and accessories.
