Description
The listing, Blue Oyster Cult "Fire of Unknown Origin" LP has ended.
This listing is for Blue Oyster Cult's "Fire of Unknown Origin" LP. Get your "Burnin For You" fix with this early 80's BOC classic! The record is in great vg+ condition, as is the record cover. The cover only has minor shelf/ring wear, and would be a great addition to your rock and roll collection! Any questions or record requests, just let me know, I'll be happy to help! :)

The Japanese release CDs in LP sized sleeves. They also produce mini-LP CDs that exactly reproduce the original LP artwork down to textured paper, die cuts, etc. Check out: www.minilps.net
I've seen those a lot looking up records on ebay, and a couple times at record stores, they're very awesome. When I get to where I have some more cash I'd love to start collecting them. Never seen that site though, very awesome compilation of info on them, I was really digging the mini lp box sets, lots of classics like Goblin, Aphrodite's Child, and Babe Ruth that just don't get the appreciation they deserve! Thanks for the heads up! :D
I love the artwork on this album. I still have a concert jersey with this cover on the front (not like it'll fit over my body 32 years after I bought it), Cd's should come in album size cardboard, the art really takes a huge hit with the smaller size.
Most definitely, I knew what vinyl was when I was young, I wasn't one of those "What are those big CDs" type of kids, but I remember when I was 16 and I walked into a local antique store that happened to specialize in records, and I saw them all up on the shelves, some of my favorite bands included, and all the art on those covers just blew me away! And I'm jealous, I'd love to see BOC live, if I could hear "Psychic Wars" or "Dominance and Submission" or "7 Screaming Dizbusters" straight from the guys themselves I think I'd be in heaven! Or heck, I'd be happy if I even had a shirt that cool! ;)
