The listing, AUTOGRAPHED DUKE SNIDER BASEBALL BAT with COA! REDUCED has ended.
Duke Snider was one of the original "boys of summer". With his death in 2011, there are no surviving members of the original eight. A graceful center fielder with a picture-perfect swing, Duke Snider was the biggest bat in the Brooklyn Dodgers' potent lineup of the 1950s. He hit 40 or more homers five consecutive times and led all batters in home runs and RBIs during the decade. "The Duke of Flatbush" is the only player to hit four homers in two different World Series (1952 and 1955), while his 11 Series home runs and 26 RBI are the most ever by a National League player.
The fact that he played so long ago makes this pristine bat all the more special. It goes without saying that it has a Certificate of Authenticity. I had a hard time taking pics of the entire bat.
This DUKE SNIDER AUTOGRAPHED BAT has a COA, which is essential if you intend to purchase this as a collectible. I actually won this many years ago from the association on the COA. The bat is highly desirable and is often preferred to other models. It has the following highly desired features: 1) It is a Rawlings Adirondack 232 Big Stick 2) It has been kept in its plastic case for the entire time I have had it. It will be attractively displayed in its plastic case.
Use "Get it Now" and get free shipping!!!! Otherwise, shipping will be exact. It will be insured and you will get the plastic case to hold the bat, which is not pictured. but will come with the bat.
I will consider all Get it Now offers as well as shipping concessions. Thanks!
