Description

The listing, ~Great Garden Conversation Plant, The Yellow "Peter" Pepper~ 20 has ended.

Capsicum annuum "Peter pepper" (sometimes referred to as the ***** pepper) is an heirloom chili pepper that is best known for its unusual shape.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_pepper#Appearance

Plants grow to about 2 feet
Bloom color; White
90 days

Produces good yields -- 2 ¾" long by ¾" wide peppers. Medium - Hot (heat level 7-8, Scoville heat units 10,000–23,000 ) turns from green to yellow when mature. Sometimes pickled or added to salsa, it's surely a unique garden plant.

This is an heirloom op variety, not a hybrid. So saved seeds from isolated plants will come true to type in the next generation, unlike hybrids.

Plant like any other chili after danger of frost.

These seeds were also properly collected from mature RIPE pepper pods.

20 seeds -- GIN gets you 30 seeds!!

P.S. -- BEWARE OF ROSE SEEDS! There's a reason why you don't see rose seeds sold in big box garden centers.

Also beware of home collected seeds from hybrids plants.

Wow, teyer33 posted on my listing as well. Talk about a scammer! I own FrugalNoodle's yellow peter peppers. I assure you, she is the real deal. Now those scammers that are trading apple seeds from a Granny Smith Apple and claiming that they will grow a Granny Smith Apple Tree are the true losers that give seed-traders a bad name. Educate yourselves!

How 'bout I show you? http://www.listia.com/auction/13720645-granny-smith-apple-tree-seeds

You see -- apples don't come true to type in the next generation. There's no way anyone will ever get a Granny Smith apple from his seeds. Apparently, pointing that out to teyer33 is more than he can bear lol And I won't block his comments, because I have nothing to fear from them.

He block anyone trying to talk to him about it and then type in some nonsensical reply. Thankfully, hiding comments doesn't stop the MODS from accessing them :)

Monica, Did you look at the info I posted to reply to you? The images posted are of MY plants. It is 3:10 a.m here and dark out but I have added another picture, just for you. Look at the pictures and think about teyer33's claim that "obviously bought from the store". His "claim" doesn't make any sense.

Monica -- you can see here that he did the something similar to another Listian who tried to talk to him about his "Granny Smith" apple seeds on the same pg. I think this helps to show that teyer33 is the real SCAMMER; http://www.listia.com/auction/13707764-heirloom-pepper-golden-cayenne-10-seeds

I have added one last picture. In it is -- the packaging that the seeds WILL go into, held in my hand, with my user ID written on my hand and my tattoo showing. The same tattoo can be seen revealing a Peter pepper on my plant.

Thank-you for the extra pictures...I appreciate them. My concern is that I live in Canada and I don't know if I can have seeds sent to Canada in a clear baggie...
what do You know about sending seeds to Canada ? Thanks for your time...

Shipping vegetable seeds bwt the US and Canada should not be a problem. I may, however, need your phone number for the documents to export them. Just got seeds from there recently myself.
