Yes, it has a mic, and I do believe it will work with Windows 7. It worked with my Windows XP, AND my Windows 8.

Does it have a good pic and does it have auto focus or is it manual?

Yes, Joseph303, it does have a good pic, except in dark conditions. Even tho it has a light, the pic is somewhat grainy. Kinda like a night shot on a digital camera. As for the focus, it is manual, if I remember right, but you can control it with software that is in the pc.

So your saying that if you have the right light in conjunction with the leds you will have a real good pic nothing to do with the focus right it will focus in clear right?

It definitely needs to be focused. but it is a very clear picture in adequate lighting. Again, it is a manual focus.

I should mention that this webcam is made for laptops, only in the design that it is a clip-type. You can clip it to the laptop, but works well with flat screen monitors as well. It can sit on top of the CRT monitors, like in the picture.
