FREE: Pilser Vesey - a great tomato with a weird name!

Got the seeds for this tomato as a door-prize at the Heirloom Festival last year. I was skeptical at first, because there was no picture or description except "big" and "yellow", but planted some anyway...sure am glad I did - they were delicious! Sort of golden-fruity flavored rather than lemon-y...pretty big too (my garden got off to a late and rocky start this season, but I got some great tomatoes off these plants up into November.)
The seed company has gotten on the ball, marketing-wise, and now has this to say about these golden gems:
"A classic, huge, yellow beefsteak type that we received from Russia. The fruit are a lovely lemon yellow and are flattened, and ribbed. Fantastic flavor and thick flesh. This is now one of our favorite large tomatoes as they are also quite productive."
