The listing, Ancient coin - possibly Widows Mite? has ended.
Like some of the other ancient coins I sell, this was part of a large lot of uncleaned ancient coins. It might be a Widow's Mite.
PS: While I encourage people to ask questions, I will not answer really basic questions that can easily be answered via google.
Questions & Comments
Are you saying this is one of the widows 2 mite ? here is a scripture i got out of my bible: And He looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasury, 2 and He saw also a certain poor widow putting in two mites. 3 So He said, “Truly I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all; 4 for all these out of their abundance have put in offerings for God,[a] but she out of her poverty put in all the livelihood that she had.
I'm about 60% sure it's one of those types of coins, known as mites, they are fairly common. The reserve side looks right but the obverse is not detailed enough. You can look them up online.
Yup, the uncleaned lot has a lot of material, ranging from junk coins with no details, to nice romans, to byzantine cups, and apparently this thing. I'll probably list a few lots of unsorted coins from the uncleaned lot later tonight.
