This is a gorgeous Vintage Sterling Silver Navajo Ring w/ Larimar (maybe Turquoise) gemstone it is not mark but it tested positive for sterling (tested with nitric acid & muriatic acid test) and it is in stunning condition Total weight 2.5 grams Size: 8.5 Free shipping US & CANADA!!! WOOHOOOOO
Yes, I do agree that it is beautiful ring. One question, pease. Did you havea chance to clean and polish it before you took the pictures? I wonder because I see a deinite (what appears to be) either pitting in the silver or dirt on one side of the stone. Would you look at that and see if you can tell what it is? I think it is silver, not silver plate, because a ring that old would be made of silver. My mother made jewelry and she never used anything but the pure metal (or as pure as you dared make it without compromising its integrity as a metal). If it is old enough, they marked it with sterling, not 925. Anyway, I want to bid, but I need an answer first.. Thank you so much. -- Kathryn Jean
Hi Kathyrn, thanks for asking actually is very helpful just because I realize maybe others wonder too and because definitely there is NOT peeling or colors just the reflection of my own clothing on the ring and I took these pictures at night under a lamp which is not the best time to take them but as most of us sometimes we don't have much time during the day Thanks! :))
No that I can appreciate now, the piece is old and maybe it had it at one point but if ever it was re-sized or something that I just don't know but we tested and it is Sterling Silver, the acid turned blood red indicating a high silver content typical of Sterling or higher silver
Hey Linda girl the Queen bling of Listia!! How are you?? I love Larimar too, but I cannot quite remember if it is actually Larimar or Turquoise sorryyyyyy..........anyhow it is a gorgeous ring size 8 Thank you!! :)))
