Also, I was asked earlier what kinds of recipes are in this book and there are over 370 pages of recipes and since it is an international cookbook it covers recipes from these regions: Africa, Austrialia and New Zealand, Austria and Hungary, Belgium and the Netherlands, The British Isles, Canada, Caribbean and West Indies, China, France, Germany, Greece and other Balkan states, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Latin America, Middle East, Poland and Russia, Portugal, Scandinavia, The South Pacific, Spain, Switzerland and of course the United States!

some recipe samples include: Congo chicken, couscous, mango and pineapple salad, sunshine carrots, Pavlova, fisherman's soup, Hungarian veal, shrimp Haiti, egg drop soup, hot and sour chicken with bok choy, tarragon roast chicken, chateau potatoes, peach pie, farmhouse omelet, Loola kabob, Portugese baked chicken, scampi, rigatoni, rum-cherry pudding, coffee frappe, Ukrainian borscht, homemade chorizo, hunter's stew, rice with eggplant, shrimp salad, Philippine chicken and veal stew, gazpacho, plumb crumb tart, Gloucester clam chowder, Pennsylvania Dutch picked eggs and beets, cheese strata, catfish poorboy, hexel (hash), stuffed red snapper, picnic chicken, seafood newburg (one of MY favorites!), Maryland spiced ham, Butternut squash souffle, Maine pumpkin pudding, apricot brown Betty, banana nut brownies, and a few hundred more! haha
