I have like 6 of these found a place in back of lap top where they go but can you tell me do they have to be for the right model or can I just put them in any computer I know this is a really stupid question but in the simplest way can you give me feed back

This ram came out of a working 2001 Compaq laptop that was drop and broke 1 week new. I scrape the parted most of it including the motherboard. they were tested on another one i bought and there 100% functional and in very good condition. i could not tell you if it will work properly in your labtop unless i installed it to see. i alwas ordered the same to what ever i pulled out my labtop to upgrade with bigger ram. as of 2 or 3 gig ram chip every 3 to 4 year to keep it up to speed. i have a custom Dell know and have no use for these so i am auctioning.
