I actually have two identical units. Both of them have dark screens. Both have 4g memory. The scratches and dents are not major and do not SEEM to impair the units. They were the first generation to play video and podcasts. Once the screen is fixed ... they play music and video and hook up with a standard headphone set. They are also the first to use the larger display, used in the 4th generation, though in landscape fashion.

They use the general Apple charger *NOT INCLUDED*.
