Lightly file one end of each seed and soak for 2 hours in tepid water before sowing. Sow into pots or trays of moist seed compost and cover with 1/4" layer of compost or vermiculite.
Place in a propagator or warm place, and keep at a constant temp. of between 68-77 deg. After sowing do not exclude light as this helps germination. Keep the surface of the compost moist but not waterlogged; germination will usually take 7-30 days. When large enough to handle, transplant seedlings into 3"pots or trays.
AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS
Gradually acclimatize plants to outdoor conditions for a few weeks before planting after all risk of frost is past. Plant 12' apart. For best results, provide a light, well-drained soil in full sun. Can also be grown in(10-12in) containers in the greenhouse or conservatory.
