what type of clasp does it have? spring ring, hook, lobster claw etc. Also, are any stones darkened at all and have you cleaned it? if so how?

it has a lobster claw clasp, no stones are darkened, it has a black kind of titanium looking background instead of silver, it is truly lovely, i have never had to clean it....purrs..catspaw1955

Do you know about how old it is catspaw? It definitely has a vintage feel to it, and it is a statement necklace-put that on with a plain dress or even just a T and jeans and wow-you'll be a knockout! :-)

i agree totally with you, i believe it is about 1967 vintage, my mom says dad gave this to her for an anniversary present, no. 13yrs, so that would put it at 1967, i used to wear it with blue jeans too!! purrs..catspaw1955
