it's about a retired detective who gets mixed up in a government covert situation. I'm normally not into books with those types of situations, but this one kept me guessing. if u goto any website that sells books, put in the title and it will give you a better description than I can.
Reacher is always into some covert intelligence mystery. He doesn't seem to have a home or a certain place to be found, no bank account or some times he does, depending on the year of the book. (post or pre 9/11) In some way it always has some connection to old military friends or their friends and the story lines twists and turns and by the end of each story all ends connect. Just when you think you have the culpert figured out you find out you are wrong and it isn't or it is plus another. Lee Childs is a great author. I am reading one now called Without Fail where he is supposed to figure out the failure in Secret Service guarding Vice President. So anything Lee Childs puts out will be great.
