Re: bidding. Most people like to wait until the end to put in final bids so they don't tie up their credits. What I do is put in a small bid just to keep it on my bidding list. I usually get outbid, but can always go back later to bid more, and having it on my bidding list lets me keep an eye on the item.

Thanks again for info on bidding. I am new at this and will learn as I go, thanks to my new friends on Listia.

Very helpful crowd here! Bidding is a bit of an art form, you'll get the hang of it. The biggest issue is tying up your credits ... as long as you are winning, you can't use your credits for anything else until you are outbid, or the auction ends.

These are nice, hope I can get them. I missed out on the jade green cross as it was bidded too high. God bless.

Yup, I made these! I have another similar pair, ending tomorrow night, I think. I appreciate your sentiment, but just bid on what you really want ... probably beads! LOL

Thanks ... here's my lecture in a nutshell, use a white backdrop, no flash, and a little desk lamp with a natural-color (daylight) bulb you can buy in the supermarket, or a full-spectrum crafts lamp if you have one. Use your camera's macro setting, then crop and edit for contrast and color if needed. You can get free photo editing software on the web, I use HP Photosmart.
