Description

The listing, FOUR Flashing Pyramid Crackle "Glass" LED Lights Green & Blue has ended.

Here's something you won't see every day on Listia ... FOUR funky flashing little pyramids that look like cracle glass, but made of plastic. Push the bottom on the bottom once and it flashes in a two-beat pattern, push it again and it flashes in a regular pattern, again and it stays lit, one more time to turn it off.

They ALL work, guaranteed, but you have to push the button kind of hard. 2 inches wide, about 1.5 inches high ... might work in a larger tea-light, or inside any type of glass or crystal holder (a small cut-glass bowl looks cool, I tried that!).

These were originally sold to put inside of carved pumpkins at Halloween, but I bought them after Halloween (on sale of course) just because I thought they were cool. My family is not wild about them (sort of looks like the Martians are landing in force), so out they go. Barely used, they should last a LONG time!

FREE US Shipping!

I do NOT have any more of these, so please bid for them if you want them!

I am taking a little break from beads and listing some jewelry in the next few days ... lots of rings and a few other things. Please see my other auctions!

Never seen anything like this before. You are right it would seem like the martians have landed or Superman lost his citanite (?). God bless.

Sheesh, great idea! I've already got a bid (thank you!) or I'd change the title to "Kryptonite flashers." LOL

I think I bought them two years ago after Halloween. I didn't see them this year, but they were in the supermarket on clearance. I was just taken with them, but I LOVE gadgets, particularly those with a lot of bling! Speaking of bling ... please take a look at my other auctions!

Hi! These are cute. Built-in batteries? Like watch batteries, or AA ?
Thanks

Yup, the batteries came built in, so I haven't look at them. Probably those teeny little coin batteries. You can probably replace them, but usually LED lights like these last a pretty long time.

Most items like this use either CR2016 or CR2032

Those are larger coin batteries, and I'm thinking this might be smaller ones, but you can probably find them, even online if you can't find them in a store. Most people just toss stuff like this out when the batteries die, but putting new batteries in them should work too!

Can you put them in water? My friend had a few things like this but they were disco balls and he put them in his jacuzzi and pool.

LOL, I'm thinking probably not. Unless they are watertight as soon as the battery compartment gets wet they will probably fade to black ... mystery....

Yes, they would. They'd be pretty cool flashing away in their Easter baskets ... do a night-time hunt for them!

do they last?

Depends on how long you leave them on, eventually the batteries will die. I guess the winner will find out, I really have no idea Latvie ...
